Lincoln Investment is searching for a strategic leader with a strong tactical background to fill the role of Chief Financial Officer. The CFO will effectively motivate others to achieve goals and objectives and provide direction to the executive group on financial and business initiatives. The CFO will collaboratively work with the Chief Executive Officer, executive team, department members, other internal departments and Lincoln’s financial advisors, as well as interface with regulators, auditors, banks and other external organizations. The successful candidate will be a proven leader and bring extensive experience including strong business acumen, financial planning and analysis, accounting and reporting, capital planning, tax and M&A. Additionally, the candidate must possess a well-rounded and diversified business experience exhibiting strong interpersonal skills, ability to research and resolve complex business issues, and take the initiative to be accountable and impactful on issues throughout the organization. Further, the CFO will work with other executive leaders to develop and implement financial strategies and overall business strategies including working with the Chief Executive Officer in planning and executing acquisition strategy. The CFO will make prudent decisions that are timely, well researched and reflect awareness of impact and adapt to fast changing environments and the willingness to take risks and consider new approaches to improve the organization’s competitive position.

 

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field
CPA designation preferred
15-20 years of finance and business experience
5 years’ experience managing professionals/managers
Strong Excel spreadsheet skills
Knowledge of investments, financial research and reporting
Strong organizational and analytical abilities
Strategic planning experience
Strong budgeting experience
Capital planning
Ability and willingness to work both strategically and tactically
Financial Operations Principal License (Series 27) (Successful candidates
who do not possess this designation may obtain it while actively employed)

Preferred:  Brokerage or related industry experience. Advanced experience with accounting software. Mergers and acquisitions experience.
